FivePrayer LLC ("FivePrayer", "we", "our", or "us") publishes the FivePrayer mobile application (the "App") and fiveprayer.app (the "Website"). The App and Website process different information. This policy explains that distinction so a statement about private prayer data is not confused with website analytics or marketing attribution.

The disclosure labels on the Apple App Store and Google Play are part of this notice and are the source of truth for platform-specific data categories in the current release. Store disclosures and SDKs can change as the App changes.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

You may provide us with:

• Feedback, support requests, and other communications you choose to send.
• Information entered into an optional account or sync feature when that feature is offered and you choose to use it.
• Prayer preferences, calculation methods, and lock settings you configure in the App. These settings are primarily used to provide the requested functionality.

1.2 App Data

Depending on platform, version, permissions, and features enabled, the App may process:

• Location: if you grant permission, location is used to select or calculate local prayer times and Qibla direction. You can deny or revoke location access in device settings and choose a location manually where supported.
• Prayer and preference data: prayer confirmations, streaks, calculation method, reminder, and lock preferences can be stored on your device. If you explicitly enable a backup, sync, or account feature, the information needed for that feature may be transmitted.
• Diagnostics and identifiers: the current store disclosures identify the diagnostic, usage, contact, or device-identifier categories used by a platform version. Review the official listing before installation for the current categories and purposes.

1.3 Screen Time and Device Lock Data

FivePrayer uses screen time and device management APIs to lock your screen during prayer times. We do not collect, store, or transmit information about which apps you use, your browsing history, or any personal content on your device. All screen locking functionality operates locally on your device.

1.4 Website Analytics and Marketing Attribution

The Website is separate from prayer tracking inside the App. When you visit the Website, our hosting provider receives standard request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and time. The Website also uses TikTok Pixel and TikTok Events API for campaign measurement. Those tools can process the page URL, referrer, campaign parameters, browser or device information, IP address, TikTok click ID, TikTok cookie ID, and store-button interactions.

We also record source context such as UTM source, medium, campaign, page type, and CTA placement to understand which pages lead visitors to an app store. Website analytics does not include the content of your prayers or your prayer-completion history.

Marketing analytics is optional. The Website does not load TikTok Pixel or send app-store click events to the TikTok Events API until you choose “Allow analytics” in the Website consent prompt. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be reset by clearing site data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the FivePrayer service
• Calculate accurate prayer times based on your location
• Lock and unlock your screen during configured prayer times
• Show prayer consistency and progress insights in the App
• Send you notifications related to prayer times and app updates
• Respond to your support requests and feedback
• Measure Website campaigns and app-store button performance
• Improve and develop features
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your prayer-completion history. Information can be processed by other parties in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: hosting, app distribution, diagnostics, support, backup or sync, and analytics providers process information needed to provide their service.
• Website marketing: TikTok processes Website and campaign-attribution events as described above. Its processing is governed by TikTok's own terms and privacy policy.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Safety: We may share information when we believe it is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of FivePrayer, our users, or others.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

4. Data Retention

On-device prayer data remains until you remove it, reset the App, or uninstall it, subject to any backup you enabled. Support communications and server-side records are retained only as needed for the purpose collected, security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. TikTok and app-store providers apply their own retention periods.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. Network connections to our Website and APIs use HTTPS. No transmission or storage method is entirely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability: Request a portable copy of your data.
• Marketing choices: use browser controls, device privacy controls, or TikTok's controls to limit marketing measurement where available.
• Location: Revoke location permissions through your device settings at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

FivePrayer's Family Mode allows parents to configure the App for their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction) without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately.

8. Third-Party Services

The App and Website link to or use services operated by Apple, Google, Vercel, TikTok, and other providers disclosed in the applicable store listing or interface. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before enabling an optional integration or providing information.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
